Football Player Aaron Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Missing Dog in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh athlete Ramsey has boosted the bounty for details concerning his missing pet named Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
the dog, who vanished on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news concerning our pet Halo kindly get in touch with us. Significant incentive for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is safe and comes home to our family quickly," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
The footballer initially revealed that his dog had gone missing a fortnight back and has subsequently posted several images of the beloved canine on his social media account.
A £7.5k reward was originally provided, but with lack of updates on the dog's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the sum.
"We just want our girl back," he said in another plea on social media after the decade-old pet was lost.
A recent picture upload is a black and white image of Halo napping, its head lying in the crook of Ramsey's arm, with the message: "How I wish to hold you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Worries and Context
Ramsey has additionally posted a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have some "pressing queries" surrounding the disappearance and fear the household "might not obtain answers".
"To this day we have not located Halo. I fear we will ever," his wife's message read.
The Wales leader signed with Mexico's premier team Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his debut in Liga MX in August.
Originally from Caerphilly athlete is the first prominent British player to play in the Mexican league.
