A Pair of Suspects Accused with Inmate Homicide of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins
Two men have been formally charged with murder in the wake of the incarceration fatality of ex-Lostprophets frontman and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
The two men, Rashid Gedel (25) and Samuel Dodsworth (43) now face murder accusations and will appear before Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by law enforcement officials.
Watkins, forty-eight, was in the midst of a 29-year prison term at HMP Wakefield, with a further six years to be served on licence, after confessing to numerous sex crimes among them the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins was taken into custody following a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a significant quantity of computers, mobile phones and data storage units were taken as evidence.
